THE DOCTOR
Doctor Zielinski or “Doc” began fishing the waters around Port Aransas and Rockport in 1973. In an effort to learn more about the area and how the fisheries work, he enrolled in the University of Texas with a Doctorate in Estuary Ecology and Science Education.
While pursuing academia, he began guiding for walleye on Lake Erie and Salmon and trout on Lake Ontario. He also was a river guide on the Niagara River for smallmouth, muskies, trout and salmon. After 17 years of winters he returns to his beloved Texas coast.
Doc is Pro-Staff for Explorer Boats, Evinrude Motors, Berkley and many other companies. This means they have placed their trust in him to represent them at tournaments and while guiding. He is a member of the IFA redfish tour and fishes this and numerous other tournaments every year. He is part of the Rockport Marine Tournament team as well. Doc fishes offshore tournaments as well. He is always in the
Deep Sea Roundup as well as others
You can find Doc’s articles in Saltwater Angler every two weeks where he presents “Ed's Tips, Tackle & Techniques.” In these articles, he shares his 50 + years of fishing knowledge.

Doctor's Orders
Too is a 34-foot Wellcraft with an 11-foot beam. She is equipped with two 350hp
engines and pocket drives to get you into the shallows. She is Coast Guard
inspected, fully insured and sanitized after every trip. She has a
private stand-up head and is very accommodating to women and children. She
is truly one of the most versatile vessels on the mid-Texas Coast!
We use the very
best navigation equipment aboard Doctor's Orders Too. Her navigation equipment
includes LORAN, GPS, Dual SONARs, RADAR, and radios.

Fish the skinny
water with Doc on his new 22' Explorer. Stalk trout and
Redfish in the numerous bays surrounding Rockport, Texas. All equipment
and bait are provided. Fish cleaning at the end of the day at no
additional charge. Bring your lunch, drinks, sunscreen and camera to
enjoy a great day fishing on the bays.
